Maruti Vitara Brezza Spotted on Road, Images Inside

A couple of days after Maruti Suzuki hinted us with a teaser sketch of its upcoming compact SUV that will be carrying a name Vitara Brezza, it has been spotted on the roads doing testing rounds. Although the company has been planning to explode all the details of car at Delhi Auto Expo, its already been spotted images while doing road testing has revealed much. Most of the details are confirms by the spy shots which include interiors and exteriors.

The fresh pictures of sub-4 meter SUV has sports projector headlamps with daytime running lights at the front, while side indicators are included in the bumper and a large honeycomb air dam. Besides the tall bonnet, the car is also loaded with square wheel arches, short overhangs, a high ground clearance which is already stated by the designer to make it more aggressive looks and energetic. The Maruti Vitara Brezza based on same Suzuki iV-4 concept that was first introduced at 2014 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Inside the cabin, Maruti Vitara Brezza (codenamed YBA) comes with an all-black finishing looks with silver insert, piano-black finish and a touch screen audio system with navigation. Rest of the features could be like any another latest sibling of the company namely Swift hatchback or Baleno.

The powertrain likely to be added by 1.2-litre K-series VVT petrol engine, generates 83 bhp of power and 115 Nm of torque while the diesel engine could be loaded by 1.3-litre DDiS motor, belting out 74 bhp of power and 190 Nm of torque. A 5-spped manual transmission might be attached as standard in both units and a CVT options also expected to be attached with the petrol engine.

After experiencing the Baleno hatchback and S-cross, Maruti Vitara Brezza will be the third model which is also going to be run in the market via Nexa Dealership. The price is expected between INR 6 to 9 Lacks ex-showroom, New Delhi which is good enough to compete with other cars in a similar range such as Ford EcoSports and Mahindra TUV 300.
