Mahindra has been planning to launch another Gusto scooter in early next month or may be at Auto Expo, New Delhi for quite some time now. The new variant will continue with more engine power compared to the Gusto 110 and would go up against like Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access.
New Mahindra Gusto 125 will be powered with 124.6 cc single-cylinder,4-stroke, air-cooled M-Tech petrol engine, churning out 8.5 bhp of power at 7,000 RPM and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 RPM and mated with a CVT transmission option. Other features will be attached as a standard are similar to previous model including mechanical drum brakes at both front and rear.
Talking about the design, Mahindra Gusto 125 is going to be offered with LED pilot lamps, tubeless tyres, guide-me lamps, find-me lamps, remote flip key and seats just like company says, Mahindra is the first in India which provide a unique adjustable seats with scooter. It will also be offered with 12-inch alloy wheels, a coil-type hydraulic suspension at the rear and telescopic fork suspension at the front and also could be attached with an innovative pocket-like storage system just like Gusto 110.
Mahindra Gusto 125 would be available with a bunch of shades such as orange rush (dual tone), bolt white (dual tone), regal red and monarch black. Well, pricing aspects are not revealed yet, but a minute high is expected to the Gusto 110.
